I drive by this building often when I go home. This is my own personal 9/11 memorial. When I woke up that awful morning my wife Suzy was already in front of the tv and very pregnant with our daughter Mielle. I quickly discovered that being a father was going to change they way I perceive and react to the world. I was overwhelmed with my thoughts and reactions – very confused.

It’s difficult to look back at that day. Driving by this place helps because even though it is hard, we should look back at that day and then drive on home to our loved ones and give them a thankful kiss on the head.
