I’ve been flipping through my archives. Honestly, I’m always doing that. This is a pre-Thievery Corporation portrait of Eric Hilton. He hired me to photograph him and the founders of Eighteenth Street Lounge in Washington DC. This is when it was under construction, 20 years ago. We didn’t use this setup – looked too “talk show.”
At The Phillips Collection, September 1993 for The Migration Series exhibition. All 60 panels were shown. The last time that happened was 1971.
